Dear Spyce Cook,
Do you have a good recipe for fish bouionbase? We used to have one but it got missplaced. My husband went deep sea fishing and it's badly needed! He wants to make some fish soup!

Thanks,
Lynnae

I found a lot of recipes for this request. A terrific one is at Cooking with Spycè. If YOU have a favorite bouillabaisse recipe, write me! You'll get credit for the posted recipe on this website.

Chicken Limonata

Help! I've been looking for a recipe for Chicken Limonata. I've been to every book store etc. and cannot find this. Do you happen to have a recipe? Maybe this recipe is just in the midwest restaurants and is called something else in other areas. It has a kind of like gel sauce that is really good. Thanks for your attention!

I searched & searched. Responded to this request with the Lemon Chicken recipe as it was the only one I found that had the gel-like sauce. During a recent search, I found more information and sent this email.

Hello again

In my web searches I have found Chicken Limonata described as "A sauteed chicken breast in a lemony, creamy white wine sauce" - which doesn't sound the gel sauce you mentioned. Have you asked the restaurant that serves it?

Regards,
Spyce
I have a couple recipes that have a creamy, lemony sauce over chicken breasts. If you're interested or you have a recipe for Chicken Limonata, write me!

R U A REAL COOK. I AM A STUDENT AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH COOKS MAKE A YEAR. I MEAN REAL COOKS NOT SHORT ORDER. ALSO CAN U TELL ME WHAT U WEAR WHEN COOKING AND WHAT IS CLASSES MUST U TAKE TO BECOME A COOK. WHAT EDUCATION WOULD U NEED?

Hello ~

Thank you for your questions. A real cook (someone whose profession is cooking) can make a wide range of money. This will depend upon each individual's education and skills, and will vary by location. The highest paid are chefs - the most successful of whom apprentice under established chefs. Many chefs are world-famous and have their own restaurants (also write books).

Some high schools offer culinary arts as a course of study. Additionally, there are a lot of colleges and you can find an initial list at: http://www.kitchenlink.com/cgi/public_frames?page=schools

Good luck & Best wishes
